Keysight’s 5G network emulation platform, based on the UXM wireless tester, supports the latest features in 3GPP Releases 16 and 17. Enhancements to the platform enable chipset and device makers to develop designs with advanced 5G capabilities for consumer, industry, and government applications.
“We’re witnessing the first commercial deployments of 3GPP Rel-16 this spring and expect to see early implementations of Rel-17 towards the end of 2022, “ said Cao Pen, vice president and general manager of Keysight’s wireless test group. “Keysight’s 5G test solutions have, and will continue to, provide a future-proof test platform for chipset makers, device manufacturers, mobile network operators, test labs, system integrators, and operational technology vendors to rapidly develop and verify 5G devices and networks.”
The updated platform was used in January to demonstrate 3.5-Gbps uplink data throughput speeds using 5G NR-DC carrier aggregation. Other enhancements include:
Updates across the 5G network emulation platform are available in a range of new configurations and price points.
